Sophie Meszaros presented “Trustworthy Urban Digital Twins” a collaboration between IMEC and SMIT, whom did research around the topics: Mobility, Logistics, Air quality, Noise quality, Sustainability and Infrastructure (e.g.: subsidized group renovations) in the model of Urban Digital Twin. Sophie proceed to explain the concept of initial transformation that occurs when the experts and the public servents start discussing on what is relevant or not and the different points of view collide.
In this masterclass, Asier Gutiérrez, researcher in the Life Sciences department of the BSC-CNS, will invite the public to learn about the latest advances in Algebraic Topology applied to Neural Networks.
A wide audience, will not go into complex mathematical principles, technicalities or references to articles that might be difficult to understand. Thus, it will focus on explaining the latest developments in the referred areas and the range of possibilities from a practical standpoint, which will be accessible to all attendees.
Encourages the sharing or joint development of IT solutions across EU public administrations, adressing legal, organisational, and technical barriers. Fosters interoperability and cost savings. It is an EC solution.

Population growth will confront the City of Zurich with a variety of challenges in the coming years, as the increase in the number of inhabitants and jobs will lead to densification and competing land uses. The tasks for the city administration have become more complex, whereas tools and methods are often based on traditional, static approaches while involving a limited number of citizens and stakeholders in relevant decisions.
Energy characterisation of existing buildings at multiple geographical levels (district, city, region) can be used to understand energy use trends. Moreover, it can correlate the energy consumption to characteristics of the territory and identify specific locations where there are buildings with poor energy performance.
TESTA is a private managed underlying secured & trusted communication network infrastructure allowing secure information exchange capabilities for operational co-operation & collaboration between the EU Institutions, EU Agencies, public authorities located in the Member States, UK, EFTA (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland) & in the candidate countries (currently Montenegro and North Macedonia and soon Albania and Ukraine).
Since September 2022, European data spaces initiatives have been collaboratively defining the technical building blocks for data spaces across various domains. In partnership with the Data Spaces Support Centre (DSSC), this collaborative effort, has successfully identified and integrated common grounds for technical standards and software implementations presented during the event.
