Harnessing climate data: Classification and predictive analytics for tourism

This workshop is part of the Big Data Test Infrastructure Skills Studio of DG DIGIT of the European Commission. 

Participants will be introduced to key theoretical concepts in data classification and predictive analytics. They will learn how to use historical data to classify and predict future outcomes. These concepts will be illustrated through a practical use case involving the Tourism Climate Index (TCI), using tools currently offered by BDTI.
