The European Commission has recently launched a new initiative to “Increase Digitalisation Awareness & Readiness of EU Communities”. The aim of this initiative is to support EU communities at the early stages or that have not yet begun their digital transformation journey by providing resources, best practices, and training to develop digital strategies.

RISE - Research Institute of Sweden and The Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SALAR - SKR) are contributing to this initiative as a member of the Smart Communities Network: the network of networks endorsed by the European Commission, whose primary goal is to involve all EU local communities in the European green and digital transformation.

With the support of a consortium of organisations, our main goal is to organise a hybrid dissemination session and follow-up training sessions to engage with our respective cities and local communities and enhance the awareness and preparedness of our communities in their digital and green transition journey.

We are pleased to invite you to participate in our hybrid event on the 28th of April, 2025 at 9:30 h CET at Hornsgatan 20, 118 82 Stockholm, Sweden,  thanks to the support of RISE - Research Institute of Sweden and The Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SALAR - SKR)

We would be happy to welcome you to Stockholm, but online participation will also be possible. The streaming link will be shared with those who register in advance.
