We are pleased to announce that OASC’s general assembly meeting will take place on Wednesday 14 June 2023 in Brussels, alongside the Brussels Urban Summit.

It will feature engaging panel discussions & workshops on our Minimal Interoperability Mechanisms (MIMs) and other smart city projects. We foresee networking opportunities, our official statutory meeting for the OASC members and a presentation on OASC’s achievements and plans for the future.

The next Living-in.EU signatories meeting will take place on 09 March 2023 at 14h00-16h30 online. It is titled "Workshop on organisational and cultural interoperability issues arising in local administrations" and is hosted by Wavestone.

Debate on local and regional authorities fit for the digital age

Since COVID-19 hit the world as a global pandemic, the importance of connectivity has become more obvious. Europe needs to be better prepared, do more stress tests on the infrastructure and increase infrastructure and connections between the Member States. Strategies have to be set to establish how critical entities can prevent, resist and recover from disruptions.

​The railway is a sustainable and futureproof mode of transport for both passengers and freight. To make the railways in Europe futureproof and to fulfil the ambitious goals of the European Green Deal a push of digitalisation is needed. On the Brenner axis we are committed to make rail better using new technology and digitalisation to increase the performance on the existing tracks and in the future to use the new Brenner Base Tunnel in the most efficient way possible.
