Increasing Digitalisation Awareness and Readiness of Estonian Communities
The European Commission has recently launched a new initiative to “Increase Digitalisation Awareness & Readiness of EU Communities”. The aim of this initiative is to support EU communities at the early stages or that have not yet begun their digital transformation journey by providing resources, best practices, and training to develop digital strategies.
FinEst Centre for Smart Cities (Taltech) is contributing to this initiative as a member of the Smart Communities Network: the network of networks endorsed by the European Commission, whose primary goal is to involve all EU local communities in the European green and digital transformation.
With the support of a consortium of organisations, our main goal is to organise a hybrid dissemination session and follow-up training sessions to engage with our respective cities and local communities and enhance the awareness and preparedness of our communities in their digital and green transition journey.
We are pleased to invite you to participate in our hybrid event on the 24th of April 2024 at 10:00 h (Estonian Time) 9:00 h (CET) at AvaLinn Collaboration Hub (Vabaduse väljak 7, Tallinn) and Online thanks to the support of FinEst Centre for Smart Cities (Taltech).
We would be happy to welcome you in Tallinn, but online participation will also be possible. The streaming link will be shared with those who register in advance.
The event will be in Estonian and English.
