Have Your Say: Guidelines on sharing interoperability solutions

The European Commission has launched a survey to support the co-creation of the Guidelines on the Sharing of Interoperability Solutions, as required by Article 4 of the Interoperable Europe Act. These Guidelines will serve as a practical resource for advancing interoperability, ensuring that solutions are not only identified and made available, but also reused across Member States.

Interoperability solutions include software applications (e.g., open source tools for e-signatures or data exchange), technical specifications and standards (e.g., APIs for cross-border data sharing), and frameworks. By sharing these solutions, administrations can save costs, avoid duplication, and improve digital services for citizens and businesses.

Cities and regions are invited to contribute to the survey to ensure that the Guidelines reflect real-world experiences and practical needs across national administrations, EU institutions, and agencies.

You can now access the survey here and add your input before 30 January 2026.
