New report: The role of Public Procurement and public buyers in sustainable ICT
Public procurement has a unique and transformative role in driving sustainability within the Information & Communication Technology (ICT) sector. Through strategic purchasing, public buyers can drive the demand for sustainable ICT solutions, reducing the environmental footprint across the full lifecycle of ICT products, from manufacturing to usage and end-of-life management. Cities, regions, and national authorities have a key role in limiting environmental impacts by integrating more sustainable practices into their procurement processes.
