“What’s next for Digital Skills? Beyond the European Year of Skills and the European Elections”

The ALL DIGITAL Weeks 2024 international launch event titled “What’s next for Digital Skills? Beyond the European Year of Skills and the European Elections” is taking place on 14 May (14.30 to 17.30) in Brussels (Rue Montoyer 51).
This year, the campaign is focused on digital democracy, civic participation and social responsibility, the impact of artificial intelligence, and digital skills for employment, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Digital competences continue to increase in importance for all European citizens and people living in Europe, especially in terms of digital media and information literacy, cybersecurity and wellbeing.
More and more jobs require digital skills, and beneficiaries must be equipped with the necessary digital skills to access essential services – from health care over housing to education and social welfare – if they are to be provided sustainably and efficiently.
