On 22 May 2025 at 11.00-16.00 CEST, the ECON Commission of the European Committee of the Regions will organise the first Digital Participatory Forum in synergy with a DG Connect info day on a new funding programme for GenAI projects in public administration. This event aims to bring together Stakeholders who are interested in building consortia for the Call for Proposals such as public administrations at the national, regional, and local levels, as well as research and technology organizations (RTOs), universities, and system integrators.

The agenda will feature:

- pitching sessions by start-ups and public authorities

- an overview of impactful AI use cases

- a panel discussion on the role of networks in promoting digital transformation. 

Speakers will include member of Commissioner Virkkunen's cabinet and ECON chair Alberto Cirio, among others. The meeting will take place at the European Committee of the Regions and online.
