In the framework of Horizon Europe, the European Union Programme for Research and Innovation (2021-2027), the European Commission launched the Mission ‘A Soil Deal for Europe’, aiming to establish 100 Living Labs and Lighthouses to drive the transition to healthy soils by 2030.
In this webinar, Giacomo Martirano (external consultant at JRC), Gerard Mor and Jordi Cipriano of CIMNE (International Center for Numerical Methods in Engineering), and BEE Group (Building Energy and Environment Group) walk us through::
Since September 2022, European data spaces initiatives have been collaboratively defining the technical building blocks for data spaces across various domains. In partnership with the Data Spaces Support Centre (DSSC), this collaborative effort, has successfully identified and integrated common grounds for technical standards and software implementations presented during the event.
Developed by the Data Spaces Support Centre (DSSC), this Starter Kit serves as a practical resource for emerging data spaces. It provides guidance, reference materials, and tools to help new initiatives design and implement effective data-sharing ecosystems.

This study summarises the work done over the course of this project and presents the main outcomes and findings. It aims to provide guidance and recommendations to public administrations developing and operating integrated public services on how to approach organisational and governance issues related to the development of these services. In order to support this objective, the study presents a theoretical understanding of organisational interoperability and integrated public service governance.
This workshop offered participants hands-on insights and engaging discussions on how European cities are advancing data-driven innovation and the use of location technologies.
The Telecom Infra Project (TIP) has developed a playbook addressing the challenges of 5G network deployment in urban environments. While most European cities already have extensive 5G coverage through existing macrocell towers, growing data demand is straining current infrastructure. The use of mmWave 5G, which could greatly expand capacity, is often impractical with traditional macrocells, making network densification essential.
Organised by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), this course introduces the fundamentals of Digital Twins and explains how they represent an integrated concept for product-related data. The concept of digital twins responds to the increasing digitalisation of product development, production, and the products themselves.
