As the Smart Communities Network contact point for Wallonia, IDETA acts as a bridge between local municipalities, regional development agencies, and public administrations. One of eight Regional Development Agencies in Wallonia, IDETA is originally rooted in Picardy Wallonia but actively supports communities across the entire region. We share Smart Communities Network resources directly with Walloon stakeholders and help them engage in collaborative digital initiatives. Our services include digital maturity assessments, transformation planning, skills diagnostics, training programs, open badge certification, regional and European funding research, and project management.
