The European Citiverses Uniting for Inclusiveness has published insights report “I want to go there now!” explores how uncertainty around accessibility, crowds, sound environments and unfamiliar places can become real barriers to participation in city life and events — especially for families of children with disabilities and people with diverse accessibility needs.

Developed through an inclusive user-centred design process, the report identifies key barriers limiting participation and highlights how digital twins and Citiverse technologies can support more inclusive urban experiences through digital previews, AI-supported navigation, adaptive interfaces and real-time information.

The report also underlines the importance of shared data standards and interoperable digital infrastructure to ensure these solutions can be scaled and reused across European cities.
