Living-in.EU at OpenLivingLab Days 2025: Showcasing Citizen-Centred Digital Innovation

The Living-in.EU (GoLiEU) project will be strongly represented at this year’s OpenLivingLab Days 2025 (OLLD25), the global gathering of living lab practitioners and innovators. Through a side event, a main programme session, and a dedicated booth, the project will highlight how digital tools and citizen-centred approaches can accelerate Europe’s green and digital transitions.

Side Event: Citizen-Centred Innovation for Green and Digital Cities

Before the official programme begins, GoLiEU will join three other city-focused projects in co-organising the side event Citizen-centred innovation for green and digital cities. Free and open to the local community, the session will include a 15-minute presentation of GoLiEU followed by an interactive exchange. Participants will explore how citizens contribute to urban transformation, share real-world practices, and reflect on how cultural and creative approaches can foster more inclusive and impactful transitions. This side event has FREE Entrance! Find out more here.

Main Programme: Digital Tools for Regenerative Planning

Within the main programme, GoLiEU is co-organising the session Digital tools for regenerative planning: Urban Living Labs driving systemic change. Kaloyan Karamitov from GATE Institute will present Sofia’s digital transformation journey and how the city has benefited from involvement in Living-in.EU. This contribution will demonstrate how urban living labs and digital twins can support systemic change in European cities. Find out more here.

Booth: Discover Living-in.EU Resources

Throughout the event, GoLiEU will also maintain a booth where participants can:

  • Access resources via QR codes to learn how to benefit from Living-in.EU offerings and services.
  • Discover the Living-in.EU Knowledge Base.
