During the European Week of Regions and Cities (EWRC) 2025, the Living-in.EU movement will organise its second EU Digital Assembly in Brussels.

What is the Living-in.EU Digital Assembly?

The Living-in.EU Digital Assembly is the annual political event of the Living-in.EU movement, where mayors, regional leaders and stakeholders set strategic priorities for Europe’s digital and green transformation. 

2025's Edition Theme

The event will explore how local and regional authorities leverage data-driven urban policymaking and citizen engagement to shape human-centric and resilient cities and regions, while ensuring equitable access to the benefits of digitalisation and the protection of digital rights. Participants will address data governance, standards and participation models that empower communities, ensuring digital transformation aligns with environmental goals and digital rights across Europe.

11:55 - 12:35: Panel discussion – Data for innovation and smart decision making with a people-centred approach​

12:35 - 13:00: Exchange with the room and ceremony for the signing of the ‘Join, Boost, Sustain’ Declaration​​

Connecting People - Networking Lunch

The Living-in.EU Digital Assembly session at EWRC will be followed by an informal networking lunch. This event will take place from 13:30 to 15:00 CET at Scotland House, Rond-Point Schuman 6, 1000 Brussels.

The networking reception is open to participants of the Living-in.EU Digital Assembly, as well as our wider community of stakeholders and representatives from European institutions. It will serve as an opportunity to discuss the intersection of digital and green transitions, and how these can be leveraged at European, regional, and local levels to foster sustainable development.
