EU LDT Toolbox launch event
The EU LDT Toolbox launch event marks the transition of the project into a market-ready product: After years of development, the EU LDT Toolbox is now ready for large-scale adoption by public administrations.
Date: 16-17 June 2026
Location: Roig Arena (Valencia, Spain)
The EU LDT Toolbox is the open-source public infrastructure that brings the European vision of Local Digital Twins to life. Following three years of development, this Toolbox enables any European community, regardless of size, to implement a sovereign, scalable, and interoperable data architecture, built entirely on EU-wide standards (MIMs).
These two days will be the opportunity to:
- Showcase the key achievements and impact of the EU LDT Toolbox initiative
- Present the results and lessons learned from the pilot implementations carried out with European cities
- Organise technical workshops to explore the tools and their practical applications.
Attendees of the launch event will have access to:
The “Transferability Blueprint”
An exclusive report on how the Toolbox achieved scalability, designed to inform future Commission policies and recommendations
High-Level Networking
A dedicated space to engage with those responsible for the future governance of the tool and define strategic collaboration lines
Impact Visibility
Opportunity to participate in the event’s audiovisual materials, such as panel discussions or interviews, testifying to the success of European collaboration
Roadmap Preview
Presentation of the maintenance and functional evolution roadmap under the new EU-backed management model.
