This toolkit, written by Leah Gerber, is an introduction to gender-inclusive mobility planning, meant to serve as a resource for designers, planners, and policymakers seeking to integrate gender-inclusive mobility into the planning and design process. The toolkit aims to collect and distill existing information to:

Understand the Problem – How transport and mobility systems systematically underserve women, gender minorities, and girls.

The UNaLab Toolkit collects all of the instruments used throughout the UNaLab project in a user-friendly and widely applicable format. The tools are used for the co-creation and experimentation of innovative solutions in a real-life urban environment together with the engagement of citizens and all relevant stakeholder groups in a city. It includes a suite of co-creation tools for Need Finding, Ideation, Strategy planning, Experimentation and Feedback gathering. The tools come in a wide range of formats from games, workshops to templates.

As part of the Support Services for EU Smart communities, the European Commission has the goal to “Increase Digitalisation Awareness and Readiness of EU Communities”. The aim of this initiative is to support EU communities at the early stages or that have not yet begun their digital transformation journey by providing resources, best practices, and training to develop digital strategies.

Sophie Meszaros presented “Trustworthy Urban Digital Twins” a collaboration between IMEC and SMIT, whom did research around the topics: Mobility, Logistics, Air quality, Noise quality, Sustainability and Infrastructure (e.g.: subsidized group renovations) in the model of Urban Digital Twin. Sophie proceed to explain the concept of initial transformation that occurs when the experts and the public servents start discussing on what is relevant or not and the different points of view collide.
