Description: Smart city projects often require a lot of expertise to analyze the data of an LDT for decision-making purposes. This can be very time-consuming and expensive. Most of LDT Users are not geospatial experts. They do not know how to utilize or to query these complex data models. This limits their interaction with the UDT. Recent advancements on Generative Al, specifically LLMs has facilitated intuitive question answering which bridged the gap between data and end-users. The ASCEND AI assistant allows to "talk to" Munich's local digital twin and get easy access to PED data.
