The Smart Communities Skills Partnership is the SMARCO community bringing together stakeholders from education, industry, the public sector, research, and civil society to strengthen skills development for smart communities and support the priorities of the Digital Large-Scale Partnership within the Pact for Skills. 

The Partnership serves as a collaborative ecosystem where organisations can exchange knowledge, contribute to project activities and outputs, pilot innovative learning approaches, and support workforce transformation driven by the green and digital transition.

By joining the Partnership, members become part of a growing European network committed to advancing smart communities through skills development, upskilling and reskilling initiatives, skills intelligence and foresight, training and certification opportunities, and cross-sector collaboration and innovation.

Who Can Join?

The Smart Communities Skills Partnership welcomes stakeholders from across the ecosystem, including higher education institutions, vocational education and training providers, research centres, companies ranging from SMEs and start-ups to large enterprises, industry associations, clusters, innovation hubs, chambers of commerce, public authorities and municipalities, as well as NGOs and civil society organisations.
