The EU Open Source Observatory (OSOR) is hosting a webinar on “Public Administrations and the EU Open Source Strategy,” taking place online on 24 September 2026, from 10:00 to 12:00 CEST.

The webinar will examine what the Strategy means in practice for public administrations as users, contributors, procurers and stewards of open source solutions. It will examine the Strategy’s main objectives and actions, discuss the challenges of implementation, and explore the funding models, public-private collaboration and the wider open source ecosystem support needed to scale sustainable open source solutions across the public sector.
