We are pleased to invite you to the upcoming LDT4SSC & LDT Toolbox Joint Needs Assessment Workshop, taking place online on 13 May 2026 from 10:00 to 11:30 CET.

The workshop is organised in the framework of the LDT4SSC – Local Digital Twins for Smart and Sustainable Communities project and the EU LDT Toolbox, with the objective of identifying the real needs, expectations and challenges faced by public authorities and end-users in the adoption and use of Local Digital Twins (LDTs).

The session will contribute to shaping future capacity-building activities and practical learning opportunities supporting evidence-based urban decision-making across domains such as mobility, energy, climate adaptation, urban planning, safety and resilience.

Workshop objectives:

• Identify capacity-building needs related to Local Digital Twins
• Understand current barriers and maturity levels
• Prioritise thematic areas where support is most needed
