The Local Digital Twins for Smart and Sustainable Communities (LDT4SSC) initiative has officially launched its second round of Open Calls: Potential stakeholders can now inform themselves about the calls and receive support at a dedicated info session.

The LDT4SSC project aims to strengthen the digital capabilities of urban areas and create a federated European ecosystem of LDT-enabled communities. This new round of calls will support innovative pilot projects across three complementary Work Strands, covering the full LDT lifecycle:
Work Strand 1 (WS1): Interconnecting existing Local Digital Twins
Work Strand 2 (WS2): Creating new Local Digital Twins based on common needs
Work Strand 3 (WS3): Adding advanced AI-based capabilities to LDTs
This info session will walk through the vision and objectives of the Work Strands, the application details and support, and success stories of practical LDT use cases.
