What is LDT4SSC?
LDT4SSC aims to build a shared, scalable European ecosystem of Local Digital Twins (LDTs), enabling cities and regions to collaborate across sectors, exchange data securely, and develop interoperable digital solutions. Through pilots, open calls, capacity building, and shared tools, the project contributes to the EUβs Digital Decade targets, promoting ethical AI, open standards, cross-border collaboration, and sustainable innovation.
What is Work Strand 1 about?
Work Strand 1 focuses on linking operational LDT platforms through thematic clusters addressing common urban challenges:
π Mobility β Energy β Environment β Public Services β Resilience β Climate Adaptation
The Open Call funds pilots that:
- Build interoperable connections between existing data platforms
- Reuse and exchange datasets, algorithms, and models
- Apply common reference architectures and standards
- Develop shared use cases across multiple communities
- Contribute to a pan-European LDT network

At the upcoming webinar, participants will be able to learn more about the WS1 Open Call: its objectives, requirements, funding structure, and available support tools.
