European Digital Infrastructure Consortia (EDICs) are dedicated legal entities aiming to implementing EU multi-country projects: They pool EU, national and private resources to achieve progress at a scale that no single member state could do on its own. 

The Annual EDIC Gathering establishes a more structured framework for cooperation between EDICs: It brings together representatives of existing and emerging EDICs, Member States, EU Institutions, industry and other key stakeholders.

The two-day event will take place from Wednesday 19 to Thursday 20 November 2025 at the Albert Borschette Conference Centre (Room 3.C) in Brussels. It provides a high-level forum to discuss the strategic direction of the EDIC ecosystem and on an operational level, aims to strengthen the community of practice by sharing experiences, lessons learned and innovative approaches to accelerate the deployment of EDICs across Europe.

Wednesday 19 November 2025

The first day of the event will begin with a presentation on the current state of EDIC initiatives. This will be followed by a panel discussion featuring four keynote speakers, who will explore perspectives and priorities for the future development of the EDIC ecosystem.

Thursday 20 November 2025

The second day will feature three parallel sessions, each facilitated by EDIC representatives. The discussions will address key dimensions of the EDIC lifecycle: budget and financial aspects (MONEY session), governance and stakeholder engagement (PEOPLE session) and procedural aspects of establishing an EDIC (PROCEDURES session).
