Due to the launch of the first calls for proposals for 5G for Smart Communities under the CEF Digital programme, the European Commission would like to invite you and your members to an online information and matchmaking workshop, on 8 February, 10:00-12:00 CET.

The event aims to inform key stakeholders about the call and connect potential project promoters with one another, including a presentation of the call by the European Commission, including requirements and expectations, and examples of 5G use cases.

Cities are invited to participate and present a 4-minute pitch, in the case of having already a project for the call, in a meeting that features telecommunication and technology companies, European networks, associations, Broadband Competence Offices, representatives of the European Institutions, and many more. 

From 1 February, registered participants can search for and contact potential project partners and invite them to set up a matchmaking call. Matchmaking will be open from 8 February to 8 March.
