​​​​​Join us for the Launch of the European Semiconductor Regions Alliance!​​

The European Committee of the Regions together with the Free State of Saxony will launch the European Semiconductor Regions Alliance (ESRA) on 7 September.

ESRA has been initiated by Saxony, whose Minister for Regional Development, is also the rapporteur of the European Committee of the Regions on the EU Chips Act.

With already 13 regions from 9 Member States ready to be founding members and more regions having expressed their interest, the Alliance will seek to foster cooperation between microelectronics regions to make the most of the EU Chips Act and attract investments.

The event will be followed by a reception organized by the region of Flanders and IMEC research center in Leuven.
